Iran is ready to start a dialogue with the US on the nuclear issue. Aragchi

Iran is ready to resume negotiations with the US on the nuclear issue and has never planned to create nuclear weapons, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said.

On January 30, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Abbas Araghchi, met with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan in Istanbul. "The Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to resume negotiations on the nuclear deal with the USA. The Islamic Republic of Iran never planned to create nuclear weapons," the minister said.

Before Araghchi's visit, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a telephone conversation.
