Foreign ministers of European Union countries have adopted new sanctions against Iran at a meeting held in Brussels, targeting both individuals and legal entities that participated in the suppression of opposition demonstrations or cooperated with Russia, Reuters reported, citing diplomatic sources.
According to the report, today the EU foreign ministers will also announce the inclusion of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (elite units of the Iranian Armed Forces) in the list of European terrorist organizations.
