Russian President Vladimir Putin and US Special Envoy Steve Wittkoff discussed the creation of a "Peace Council" for Gaza and the situation around Greenland during the talks in the Kremlin, Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said.
"During the meeting in the Kremlin, US President Donald Trump's initiative to create a Peace Council was also discussed, as well as a number of regional issues and the situation around Greenland," Ushakov told reporters.
On the Russian side, in addition to Ushakov, Kirill Dmitriev, the special representative of the Russian President on humanitarian-economic cooperation with foreign countries, also participated in the negotiations. On the American side, Jared Kushner, the founder of Affinity Partners, and Josh Gruenbaum, the senior adviser of the White House, the commissioner of the procurement commission of the US General Services Administration, participated.
