The fact is that the awards amounting to several billion drams distributed in the government were given only for the first half of 2025, which is also fixed in the official documents. Therefore, the awards for the second half are also expected. Although Pashinyan and some ministers represented that they received 7-8, and Pashinyan received 14 million drams in one year, but later Pashinyan announced. "As part of the state decision, if I'm not mistaken, I had a salary increase of 1.5 million drams per month," which means that his monthly salary was increased.
And the one-time sum of 13 or 14 million refers to one semester, and on a monthly basis, not 1.5, but 2 million 3 hundred thousand drams increased. There is information that in the near future, high-ranking officials will be rewarded for the second semester as well. It turns out that they discussed the issue of a sharp increase in the salaries of state apparatus employees in June, but since it was not possible within the framework of the law in the current year, they decided to make the increase in the form of bonuses.
At the same time, Pashinyan promised that these increases will be fixed by law, to be approved by the National Assembly.
It is not clear how they did some kind of pilot program by circumventing the law. As a matter of fact, it was carried out in violation of the law "On Remuneration of State Officials", exclusively for the purpose of bribing several thousand people at the expense of the budget.
