US President Donald Trump's administration is negotiating to give the United States full access to Greenland without any time limit. The American leader announced this in an interview with the Fox Business TV channel.
"We are talking about full access (to Greenland), without expiration, without time frames," Trump said, answering the question about the nature of the arrangements being discussed.
The US president emphasized again that the presence of the United States on the island is necessary for reasons of national security. According to Trump, Greenland has a key strategic importance, including from the point of view of possible threats.
