Venezuelan Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino Lopez announced that 83 people, including at least 47 Venezuelan soldiers, were killed as a result of the US military operation.
"As you know, among the 83 dead were 32 Cuban friends who were with us, and we helped more than 112 wounded," Primitzia quoted Padrino as saying.
