Vigen Euljekyan's whereabouts remain unknown.
Yesterday, January 14, after the exchange with two Syrian mercenaries, the four prisoners who returned from Baku are in Yerevan. But since yesterday until now, the whereabouts of Beirut Armenian Vigen Euljekyan remains unknown. The Ministry of Health hides the place of his transfer in every possible way. Yesterday, the minister described in very few words the health condition of Vigen Euljekyan, who has been in captivity for five years, has declared a hunger strike several times, and expressed his protest against the Baku government, avoiding specific details.
Euromedia24this morning appealed to the Ministry of Health again, informing that even the wife of Vigen Euljekyan, who will now arrive in Yerevan, does not know which hospital to go to meet her husband. Many users on social networks are alarmed about this. Mariam Tsatryan, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Health, once again refused to give information, manipulating that she should verify the information with the doctors, and then additionally, until the family members are officially informed, and later she will provide information about the health condition.
At the same time, it is not excluded that the minister received a direct instruction from the head of his political force, Nikol Pashinyan, not to allow the returned captives to communicate with journalists and the public, until the NSS managed to form a favorable communication field for them.
