"Zhoghovurd" daily writes:
"In 2023, Mikael Khachatryan, who received the mandate of the CP member of the Yerevan Council of Elders, who was born in 2000, bought an apartment worth 20 million drams in Avan administrative circle in 2024.
Khachatryan did not declare any means of transport when submitting the official's annual declaration. Although Khachatryan became a representative of the council of elders and the city government at a young age, there is no biographical line on the official website of the Yerevan Municipality.
Khachatryan's bank account balances amounted to 1 million drams, reduced by 500 thousand drams compared to the beginning of the year. Cash funds increased by 200 thousand drams, from 500 thousand drams to 700 thousand drams.
The incomes of the reporting period amounted to 6 million 547 thousand drams, of which 1 million drams are other income from the RA State Revenue Committee, and 5 million 547 thousand drams from the "Civil Contract" party as wages.
As of December 31 of the reporting year, the balance of the principal amount of received loans and borrowings was 18 million 350 thousand drams, of which 18 million drams is the balance of the principal amount of the apartment mortgage.
According to the declaration, Mikael Khachatryan is the deputy chief of staff of the "Civil Contract" party. In addition to this, he was included in the list of members of the KP Controlling Committee in the board elections held in September, having collected 417 votes. According to our sources, the CP elite is doing everything to ensure Mikael Khachatryan's progress in the CP team.
The latter has very good relations with the staff of the CP department. And it is not excluded that after the parliamentary elections, the young man will be able to occupy a "greasy" position thanks to his connections."
