The United States has carried out aggression not only against Venezuela, but also against all Latin American countries in order to seize the resources of the region.
This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela, Ivan Gil Pinto, at the extraordinary summit of the Union of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), which took place via video conference.
"We make it absolutely clear that this attack is not only against Venezuela, but against all of Latin America and the Caribbean," Gill said.
According to him, the USA can no longer hide the fact that its real interests are the natural resources of the Latin American region: oil, land, water and biodiversity. The minister stressed that any country that decides to protect its sovereignty can become a target of US aggression.
Gil noted that the act of aggression also violated the personal immunity of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro. He called on CELAC to condemn the aggressive actions of the United States that violated the zone of peace in Latin America and the Caribbean.
