For several days now, we have been receiving phone calls from the residents of Khudiakov street in Avan administrative district, who justifiably direct their anger at the "Veolia water" company, saying that they came to the 3rd alley of Khudiakov to replace the old drinking water pipes with new ones, but "instead of fixing the eyebrow, they took out the eye, left the job unfinished and left." Today, in a conversation with photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, residents said: "On December 12, they came from "Veola water" and demolished an 80-meter-long road near the 3rd station, arguing that they will first change the old rotten pipes, as a result of which water loss will be prevented. They threw trash and damaged the water pipes, due to which about 15 houses were deprived of drinking water for several days. Two days ago, they came and laid a water line with plastic pipes, which was temporarily restored, but due to poor quality work, the water leaks do not stop. Not to mention that more than 10 houses seem to be imprisoned, they cannot get in and out not only by cars, but also on foot. The entire lane has become impassable. We applied to both "Veolia water" and the staff of the head of the Avan administrative district, but we did not receive any positive answers. We have lost our hopes both from the district head of Avan and "Veolia water". That's why we want the mayor of Yerevan, Tigran Avinyan, to get involved in the case, to at least oblige the officials of "Veolia water" and the district administration to sober up and finish the work, of course ensuring quality."
