The God-built Mother See of St. Etchmiadzin, the spiritual center of Armenians, the Holy See is unshakable with its nation-chosen and anointed His Holiness the Patriarch, Asoghik Abegha Karapetyan, a member of the Mother See of St. Etchmiadzin, stated this.
"We are going through a difficult test as a nation. May God give us hope and strength.
Both our dedication and loyalty, keeping our holy covenant, and our carelessness and treachery are historic...
As a clergyman, as a humble Armenian Christian, I express my gratitude to my dear relatives who came today to the Mother See to offer their heartfelt prayers in the Mother Cathedral and as the Armenian Church to express their devotion and loyalty to the Armenian Patriarch and our sacred church order and rule. I express my gratitude to our honorable pro-state deputies and political and public figures who, with a high sense of responsibility, for the sake of the sovereignty of the Mother Church, they came to the Mother See for the sincere preservation of national solidarity and unity.
I also express my warm thanks to our dear journalists, who zealously and devotedly carry out their most important mission, covering and making the truth available to everyone, for the benefit of our country, our nation and for the glory of our Holy Church. Truly, truly, I tell you, dear ones, who will come to the Holy Etchmiad with treachery, disobedience and division, ashamed and stubborn from this Mother See of Christ. May the Almighty God abundantly bless our cradle Motherland, steadfastly keep and preserve the Armenian state and statehood. May the Armenian Nation live and prosper, strengthened and brightened by the love, hope, faith and light that emanates from its Motherland," said the Holy Father.
