The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that on Tuesday, October 29, under the leadership of Russian President Vladimir Putin, a training of strategic deterrence forces was conducted, during which practical launches of ballistic and cruise missiles took place. It is noted that the tasks during the training were completed in full, all missiles reached their targets.
Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov reported to President Vladimir Putin that during the training they worked out the tasks of delivering a massive nuclear strike in response to an enemy strike. Putin noted that the nuclear forces of the Russian Federation are equipped with modern weapons at the level of 94%. Earlier, the State Duma named a possible basis for the use of nuclear weapons.
