"Zhoghovurd" daily writes:
"Zhoghovurd" daily newspaper's well-informed government sources report that CP Party leader Nikol Pashinyan has decided to invite the candidates of the CP's pre-election list for the 2026 parliamentary elections to the upcoming sessions of the CP's board and "interrogate them".
Yesterday's session of the CP Department was almost entirely devoted to the candidates nominated in the 2026 election list. Our source from the CP told that the nominees of the department's list of 20 people were "interrogated". "It doesn't matter if you are now a deputy of the CP faction of the National Assembly or not. You have to answer the questions of Nikol Pashinyan and the board members, present your autobiography and explain why you were nominated, for what purpose and most importantly, what rating you have," our source said.
Yesterday, several women deputies of the CP faction of the National Assembly also presented themselves from the podium and spoke about what they would do if they were elected. Among them were CP deputies Sona Ghazaryan, Taguhi Ghazaryan, Hripsime Hunanyan, Hripsime Grigoryan, Mariam Poghosyan, Tatevik Gasparyan, Esther Ayvazyan and Lilit Stepanyan.
The current 383-person CP list should be reduced to about 200 in order to be submitted to the CEC. As for who should lead and be in the first ten or twenty, it will be clear during the primaries to be held in March.
CP deputies should collect votes from citizens by going door to door."
