Canadian actor Keanu Reeves opened the world's largest shelter for cats and dogs in the United States. According to the Arch Haven shelter's Facebook page, the 61-year-old actor ceremoniously cut the ribbon in early December.
Reeves spent $100 million of his own money to create the shelter, which provides free care to animals.
Animals will not be euthanized. will take care of them for the rest of their lives. The facility includes cat shelters, a mobile veterinary hospital and a large off-leash dog area.
