Baku again demands to make changes in the Constitution of Armenia

Azerbaijan continues to put forward the demand to amend the Constitution of Armenia as a condition for the ratification of the peace agreement.

"Amendments made to the Constitution of Armenia will create an opportunity for the ratification of the signed agreement," Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said during his speech at the 32nd session of the OSCE Ministerial Council, APA reports.

The minister noted that "the exclusion of existing territorial claims from the Constitution of Armenia will make it possible to sign the pre-signed bilateral agreement, ensure its further ratification and establish final peace."

The wording of Bayramov's statement is simply excellent. The amendment of the Constitution of Armenia will "create the possibility of ratification", which implies that even in this case, Baku is absolutely not ready to ratify the document, but simply accepts such a possibility.
