The Ministry of Defense noted that about 16,000 people participated in the 25-day training camp this year. people participated, and this number for 2026 is planned to be around 20 thousand.
Let me remind you that 14 of those 25 days are combat duty, which covers part of the problems related to replenishment.
The problems planned by shortening the term will manifest themselves in the summer of 2027, when the first draft of 1.5-year conscripts will be discharged and many existing problems will deepen.
The symbolic role of having the army for the government and the whole calculation is that we will not be threatened or attacked."
