The damage caused by the fires in Dilijan and surrounding forests has not yet been inventoried. Lusine Hakobyan, assistant to the head of the Ecoperaic Service, said this in a conversation with Euromedia24.
Hakobyan also mentioned that everything needs to be calculated, adding that they still cannot say what caused the fire. It should be noted that today the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs issued a statement, according to which, as of 08:00 in the morning, the fires that broke out in the nearby forest areas of the Dilijan bends and "Mountain Armenia" health resort are completely contained.
