RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote on his Facebook page:
"Dear voters of the walled enlarged community, I bow to all of you and first of all, I congratulate all of you on the occasion of democratic elections. You made several important records with your choice.
1. You elected Argishti Mekhaki Mekhakyan, candidate of the "Civil Agreement" party, as the leader of the community, confirming that a peaceful, prosperous and democratic Republic of Armenia is the best way to perpetuate the memory of our martyrs, the greatest tribute to their memory.
2. You provided unprecedented support to the strategy of the "Civil Agreement" party to strengthen our statehood, independence, sovereignty, and freedom.
3. With your choice, you gave an important charge to the process of liberating the shrine of our holiness, the Mother See of St. Etchmiadzin, from Kutrich Nersisyan.
4. You appreciated the work done by "Civil Agreement" in your community in the previous period and you were forgiving for the mistakes made. I want to apologize to all of you for those mistakes.
I congratulate Argishti Mekhakyan on the occasion of his election as the head of the enlarged Vagharshapat community and I congratulate the residents of Vagharshapat on the occasion of electing Mekhakyan, who is modest but has proven the effectiveness of his work as a manager.
I congratulate all my colleagues of the "Civil Contract" party, I congratulate all the citizens of RA for this resounding prelude to the national elections of 2026. The people of the Republic of Armenia will win the 2026 parliamentary elections."
