Today, on November 16, there are council elections in Vagharshapat enlarged community by proportional electoral system. 47 precincts were formed to hold the elections.
At 8:00 in the morning, all 47 electoral precincts formed for the elections were opened in accordance with the RA Electoral Code and received the first voters. 117 technical devices are used for electronic voter registration.
31 local mass media (209 representatives) were accredited to cover elections and voting.
In order to observe the elections, 6 observation missions were accredited, two of which were joint (233 representatives).
According to the data of the migration and citizenship service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the number of voters of Vagharshapat community is 69,866.
Voting for Vagharshapat Council of Elders by proportional electoral system will last until 20:00.
