The radical Palestinian movement "Hamas" and the administrative bodies created by it are strengthening their control over the territories of the Gaza Strip that the Israeli forces left under the ceasefire agreement, Reuters reported, citing Palestinian sources and analysts.
According to him, Hamas' administrative and security forces are imposing new tariffs on privately imported goods, including fuel and tobacco, in areas under their control to supplement their own budgets.
At the same time, they set price controls on food and other products sold in shops and markets, impose fines on traders. Since the ceasefire, Hamas radicals have also executed dozens of Palestinians accused of collaborating with Israel.
