On October 25, shots rang out in Yerevan's Davtashen. Around 00:35, the Yerevan City Department of the Criminal Police Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia received operational information that shots were fired at 11 street of the 3rd district of Davtashen, and there is a wounded citizen.
Before the criminal police arrived at the scene of the incident, an alert was received from the Davtashen police department hospital that one person from the mentioned place was taken to the "Armenia" medical center with the diagnosis of "gunshot wound to the abdomen, cardiac arrest".
The victim died at around 02:50 in the intensive care unit without regaining consciousness. The criminal police officers who went to the hospital found out that the deceased is 33-year-old Shmavon Atoyan, a resident of Yerevan. Shmavon Atoyan was a blogger who was known for his pro-government publications. Shmavon Atoyan was a member of the Davtashen Territorial structure of the "Civil Contract" party.
