On October 24, patrolmen of Syunik region stopped a "KAMAZ" truck while performing service in Syunik settlement. As a result of the inspection, it was found that there is about 20 cubic meters of wood in the body of the truck. It was also found that the document presented by the driver was expired and was intended for another "KamAZ".
The driver reported that he bought the timber from the territory of Okhtar settlement, for which the head of the forest did not provide the corresponding document.
The driver of "KamAZ" was arrested and transferred to Kapan Community Police Department. His personal search revealed a mass of 0.95 grams similar to marijuana.
"KAMAZ" was transferred to a specially protected area, and the driver to a pre-investigation body.
