"Zhoghovurd" daily writes:
"A month has passed since the murder of Valodya Grigoryan, the elected opposition leader of the Parakar community, but the law enforcement system has not yet presented a complete and serious disclosure of the case.
Valodya Grigoryan's mother, Marine Grigoryan, told "Zhoghovurd" daily that she is convinced that the murder was not only committed, but also ordered and organized. "The orderers and organizers are still at large. Just finding the executor is not enough. The law enforcers should reach those who are behind all of this," Marine Grigoryan said in an interview with "Zhoghovurd" daily.
According to the information of the reliable sources of the law enforcement system that reached the "Zhoghovurd" daily, multidisciplinary examinations were appointed within the scope of the case, but it has not yet reached the identification of the orderers and organizers.
The main links of the murder remain unknown. And since the law enforcement agencies have recently been overloaded with political arrests and operations against the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church, no significant progress has been recorded in the case of the murder of the head of the community and the police operative Karen Abrahamyan who was with him.
This murder has long gone beyond the scope of personal or local revenge. It has become a test of the work of the state system to show whether the law enforcement officers are ready to prosecute the perpetrators of crimes committed against dissidents with the same consistency."
