One person was arrested during the preliminary investigation of the criminal proceedings initiated in connection with the case of physical interference and robbery of blogger, activist Artur Chakhoyan by a group of people.
This was reported to the media by the RA CC.
It should be reminded that the member of the Yerevan Council of Elders Mesrop Manukyan stated earlier that the beating was related to a publication by Chakhoyan, in which he claimed that "under the nose of the district administration of Nor Nork administrative region, without a construction permit, a huge market is being built by demolishing the pavement, and the pavement is not being restored by the demolisher, but by the Yerevan Municipality with the taxes paid by the people."
