Publications circulated that apparently disproportionate force was applied to citizens, and a group of people were taken to the Police Department.
On the instructions of the human rights defender, the representative of the Shirak regional division is currently visiting the relevant police department in order to get acquainted with the state of ensuring the rights of persons deprived of their freedom.
In addition, as a result of the monitoring, information was received that as a result of the created situation, the normal work of a number of kindergartens operating in the community was not ensured, which had its impact on the children's right to preschool education.
The defender emphasizes once again that in the mentioned and any other processes it is necessary to be guided exclusively by the principle of ensuring the best interest of the child.
