20 billion dollars will be allocated to Ukraine from the frozen Russian assets

The United States, as part of agreements with the Group of Seven (G7), has finally approved a $20 billion loan to Ukraine that will be repaid using profits from frozen Russian assets, President Joe Biden said. The press service of the White House described this decision as "historic".

"This way, Ukraine will be able to get the help it needs now without burdening the [American] taxpayers. These loans will support the people of Ukraine as they defend and rebuild their country," said Biden. He emphasized that the actions of Kiev's allies "make it clear that the tyrants will be held accountable for the damage they have caused."

"This is another reminder to [Russian President] Vladimir Putin that the world has rallied around Ukraine, and the United States and our G7 partners will continue to support him every step of the way," Biden said, adding that Russia will not win this war.
