Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan wrote on his Facebook page.
"Yerevan Youth Orchestra is one of our most important initiatives.
These young people are already playing on the best stages in Armenia.
On August 2, they are going to present our city and the country in one of the most prestigious international music platforms at the Young European Classic Festival in Berlin.
Before leaving Berlin, the orchestra introduced the same program for the Yerevan audience led by Sergey Smbatyan. The orchestra is a good example of what results happens when the city is investing in the development of education, culture and children. These young people have already become representatives of Yerevan with their talent and art, "the mayor wrote.
