China Foreign Ministry spokesman Go Jakakun has not yet confirmed the possible meeting between China and US Leaders and Donald Trump this fall.
Earlier, "South China Morning Post" reported that US President Donald Trump could go to China to meet with the Chinese President in South Korea or to meet with China's leader Si Jinpin.
"Diplomacy of the heads of state plays an exceptional strategic and guiding role in China-US relations," said Guo Jakakun during a briefing on Monday.
When asked for the information circulating in the media that the leaders of China and the United States may meet in the coming months, the diplomat replied that he had no information to provide.
