Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has announced the campaign to contact world leaders and pressure on Israel to stop the starvation of the Gaza residents by a statement on Palestine's Permanent Observatory on Friday.
The Palestinian leadership is appealing to world leaders for its people in the "critical and difficult time" due to the coordinated actions of the Israeli government. The latter is "without restraint or responsibility for genocide, killings, destruction and starvation" against the residents of the Palestinian enclave.
"We urge the world to intervene immediately, to stop hunger and provide our people in Gaza for immediate supply of food and medical care," the document reads.
It also emphasizes that the Palestinian people will not give up the coordinated actions of the Israeli authorities, which are "aimed at disrupting the solution of the two countries."
