Romanian President Nikusor Dan has received an official invitation from US President Donald Trump to visit America.

In an interview with Digi 24, Christian Diakonsescu told Digi 24. "President Nikosor Dani received an official invitation from President Donald Trump. They had a very good dialogue a month ago, and now this invitation has been officially transferred, "he said.

Diakonescu noted that the date of the visit has not been decided yet. Earlier, Romanian Foreign Minister Oana Joeu said that in September they will leave for the United States to prepare for the visit of the President of Romania.

Trump and Dan met and exchanged several words at the June 25 at the NATO summit in The Hague.
