Japan's Electricity Company (KEPCO) is discussing the resumption of geological research at the Fuku Prefecture, preparing for the restoration of the 1st power unit after the disaster in Japan.
The Kama Electricity Company was conducting geological research on the restoration of the 1st power unit in the Mihama Station of the Fuku Prefecture, but after the catastrophe of Fukushima Daichi stopped.
According to the TV channel sources, the company now discusses the possibility of resuming research and intends to officially announce it in mid-August.
If the construction of the power unit is carried out, it will be the first case after the accident at the Fukushima-1 nuclear power plant. Currently, the two power units of the Mihama nuclear power plant have been taken out of operation.
