Hunger in the Gaza Strip has reached catastrophic sizes due to the continuous blockade of enclave by Israel, a statement issued by the Palestinian radical Hamas movement, which has been published in Telegram.
"Hunger has reached the catastrophic in Gaza due to the continued drowning blockade by the Zionist Army.
"The use of hunger as weapons for the Gaza People and a livelihood of the Fascist Occupational Government, which continues more than 21 months, is one of the most horrific crimes against innocent children and civilians," the statement said.
Hamas called on the international community to take immediate steps to eliminate the blockade by Israel.
"We demand that the Arab-Islamic countries take immediate action to eliminate the blockade, ensure the unhindenance of food and humanitarian assistance, and to stop the genocide, and the hungry."
