Russia will transfer to the Ukrainian side another 3,000 corpses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The transfer of 1000 corpses on Thursday is the beginning of this process, the source close to the Russian negotiation group told RIA Novosti.
In June, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated during a meeting with the heads of international media in St. Petersburg that he was ready to transferred Ukraine to 3,000 bodies of the killed Ukrainian servicemen in addition to 6,000.
"3,000 body will be handed over to the Ukrainian side, as the President promised. Today is the beginning of this road, "the source said.
