The Ukrainian parliament has passed a bill in the second reading, which allows citizens over 60 to serve in the Ukrainian Armed Forces, said Irina Gerashchenko.
On June 4, Ukrainian parliamentary Alexei Gonchenkoko said that Rada received a bill on contract military service in Ukrainian armed forces over the age of 60.
"Three hundreds of six deputies have supported servicemen who have been completed by the age of 60 at their own discretion of Ukraine, adopting a bill on contract military service for the maximum age of military service.
It allows people to convene a military service agreement, but they are ready to continue the service for health reasons, "Gerachachenko wrote in his Telegram channel.
