China considers talks the only way to get out of the Ukrainian crisis

China continues to consider the political settlement the only way to get out of the Ukrainian crisis and opposes any unilateral sanctions.

The statement came from Chinese Foreign Ministry Representative Lin Zzyan, commenting on NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte that China, India and Brazil may have secondary sanctions due to refusing to put pressure on Russia.

"China has always claimed that negotiations are the only possible way to resolve the Ukrainian crisis and are strongly opposed to any illegal unilateral sanctions."

"There are no winners in the customs war, and coercion and pressure cannot solve the problem," said the official representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry.

He also expressed hope that "all parties will be able to contribute to the further settlement of the Ukrainian crisis."
