Germany intends to buy Typhon river settings, which is designed, among other things, to 2,000 km for missiles. The statement came from German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius during his visit to Washington, DPA reports.
"Simply put, these are ground settings, from which different winged missiles can disseminate different missiles," he said. Pistorius stressed that Germany allegedly wants to use Typon to curb only the potential enemy.
The Minister noted that the long-range of such combat systems is significantly higher than those currently in armaments currently by European countries.
"Thus, Germany can significantly increase its defensive potential, as well as its own compensation, and this has a key importance," said Pistorius.
