Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian was wounded in Tehran as a result of Israel's strike and received light foot injuries. The incident took place on June 16 during the sitting of the Supreme National Security Council. Reported by Fars.
The agency said that the entrances and exits of the building were rocketed, but officials managed to leave the building through an emergency outcome.

According to Fars, the attack was "modeled" by the murder of the Lebanese Shiite Murder Hasan Nasralah, who was killed at the Almighty Staff-apartment of the southern Southern Supreme Committee in Beirut on the evening of September 27, 2024.
