Netanyahu hopes to make peace with a number of Arab countries soon

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has postponed his visit to Azerbaijan, where he should have been from May 7 to 11. This was stated by the head of the Government of the Jewish State.

"In the light of the developments in Gaza and Syria, as well as the security and diplomatic agenda, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has decided to postpone the visit to Azerbaijan later. The Prime Minister thanked President Ilham Aliyev for the invitation and appreciates the warm and stable relations between the two countries, "the statement said, without detailing the visit.

Earlier, the Turkish Foreign Ministry stated that Ankara did not provide Netanyahu's plane to the Turkish airspace for flight to Azerbaijan. The authorities of the republic reminded that the Turkish airspace is closed to Israeli aircraft due to Israel's military operations in the Gaza Strip.
