Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has said that Ankara has issued a US position on the possibility of resumption of talks on Iran's nuclear program.
"At the moment, it is a ceasefire. We see that the parties maintain it. However, there is uncertainty about the resumption of negotiations on the nuclear program, "Fidan said after participating in the BRICS summit in Brazil.
He said that within the framework of the summit, he discussed this issue with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghi.
"The views of the American side have been transferred to the Iranian side," he said, adding that four days ago he discussed the issue with US Special Ambassador Steven Whitcoff.
"We hope that the solution to this problem will be found as soon as possible through negotiations," he said.
