Former Government leader of Adjara Tornikie Ryzhvadze has been hospitalized, the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.
"Thornnikze Ryzhvadze was hospitalized on July 7 at Sagarjo's Geohospapit Clinic. The Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched an investigation into Article 115 of the Criminal Code, which implies the motivation of suicide.
Intensive investigative actions are being carried out on this fact. Ryzhvadze was provided with emergency medical assistance, "the statement said.
It is noted that Ryzhvadze's health is stable and heavy.
"Besides, one person was arrested as accused in accordance with Article 238 of the Criminal Code of Georgia," the statement said.
36-year-old Tornikie Ryzhvadze resigned on April 4 as the head of the Adjara government.
