The first session of Indirect negotiations between the Israeli and Palestinian Hamas movement ended in vain, Reuters reported, citing its sources.
Earlier, Al Arabia reported on the launch of talks in Doha, the capital of Qatar.
"The first session of the indirect ceasefire negotiations between the Israeli and Palestinian Movement of the Palestinian Hamas is completed without the results. The Israeli delegation has no sufficient powers to sign an agreement with Hamas, as "it has no real powers," the statement said, citing Palestinian officials familiar with the negotiations.
According to Axios correspondent Barack Ravide, the mechanism to provide humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip was discussed at the first session of the talks.
