The issue of distrust of the President of Euro-Commission Ursula von der Lion will be discussed at the European Parliament's session in Strasbourg today, for corruption in the acquisition of Covid-19 vaccines.
Von der Lion will personally present the European Commission.
The initiator of the proposal to discuss the issue of distrustful voting was the Romanian MEP Deputy George Piperian.
His request was to support at least one tenth of 720 members of the European Parliament, or 72 people. After all, 74 people supported the proposal, 3 of which belong to the group of extreme right-wing European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR). Pipera accuses von der the Lion and the European Commission, among other things, in the absence of transparency during the entrance.
