BRICS countries develop integration and encourage solidarity as a counterbalance to wars and indifference, and Rio de Janeiro will help find global crises, Brazilian President Luis Inasio Lula said Silva.
"There will be no prosperity in the broken world of wars. Instead of barriers, we promote integration. Instead of indifference, we build solidarity, "Lula said, speaking at the BRICS Business Forum in Rio de Janeiro.
The President stressed that the issue of ending conflicts and clashes is "great responsibility", which is placed on the shoulders of statesmen and governments.
"It is obvious that the vacuum of guidance exacerbates the suffering of our societies. I am convinced that this forum and the upcoming summit of BRICS will bring solutions, "Lula added.
