Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed the conflict between Russia and Azerbaijan with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev and concluded that Baku did not want to escalate the conflict. This was reported by "Anadolu" agency.
"Aliyev takes very careful and prudent steps in this context. He is not in favor of maintaining or escalating this problem. From his statements, I realized that he was determined to solve it, "said the Turkish leader.
Prior to that, the politician expressed hope that the tension between Moscow and Baku will be bald in the near future without damaging the parties. Erdogan also stressed that the Turkish side intends to continue to move to the issue.
