The head of the European Diplomacy Kaya Callas will announce the options for restricting measures against Israel in connection with its military operation in the Gaza Strip, reports the EURACTIV portal, citing sources.
According to them, several scenarios are being discussed, including the full or partial suspension of the Association Agreement between Israel and the EU, sanctions on officials, military and new residents. In addition, according to sources, the EU may limit trade with Israel, impose or suspend scientific and technical cooperation.
According to EurActrriv, the suspension of the Association Agreement with the EU is possible only if this event is unanimously supported by national governments.
According to the portal sources, the European Union will mostly limit the sanctions against specific individuals, as well as Australia, Great Britain, Canada, New Zealand and Norway.
