Russian President Vladimir Putin will join the BRICS summit in Rio de Janeiro. Dmitry Peskov, spokesman for the head of state, stated this at a briefing.
"BRICS summit takes place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on July 6 and 7, and on Sunday, the president will take part in the main plenary session of this summit through a video conference," he said.
There will be another event that the Kremlin will announce additional.
The 17th Brixian summit will be chaired by Brazil. Issues of health, trade, investment, finance, climate change, artificial intelligence management, peace and security are included in the agenda.
