The private digital "Anorbank" of Uzbekistan has confirmed the media reports on the abduction of its owner, local businessman Kahramonjon Olimov and his release. The bank's press service reports that the financial institution continues to operate as usual.

Earlier, the French Monde publication reported that unknown individuals were abducted on June 23 in one of the stylish neighborhoods of Paris, where he was beaten, threatened to pay for a ransom.

Le Monde, citing the doctor of "Otel-Diel" hospital in Paris, also said that Olimov received many bruises and injuries after the incident.
