In the Gaza Strip, Israel has killed more than 100 Palestinians on Thursday, the Palestinian WAFA news agency reported, citing medical sources.

They said that 51 people were killed while waiting for humanitarian aid, while more than 90 Palestinians were injured when the Israeli forces were targeted in Qnitak to receive humanitarian aid in Khan Junis, sources said.

On May 18, the Israeli army announced the launch of hostilities in the northern and southern regions of Gaza within the framework of a large-scale land operation called Gideon's Carriers.

The announced purpose is the ultimate defeat of Hamas and the release of all Israeli hostages in enclave. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that after the operation, the army plans to control over the entire Gaza Strip.
