Slovakia will supply Ukraine to eight "Bozena-5" demining system, TASR news agency reported.
According to the agency, the forthcoming supply of demining systems in Slovakia was approved during the Slovak and Ukrainian intergovernmental consultations in Kiev on July 1. Slovakia presented Martin Kacho, head of the Political Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Ukraine, Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Mishchenko.
According to the agency, the Ukrainian side stated during the consultations that it does not intend to eliminate the ban on Russian gas transit through its territory. Kiev also called Bratislava to support the adoption of the 18th package of sanctions against Russia.
The meeting was approved by the agreement on the implementation of joint projects in the field of energy and transport infrastructure. The discussion focused on the prospects of EU membership in Ukraine.
