The suspension of US ammunition supply to Kiev will significantly affect Ukraine's military planning, according to Financial Times (FT).
"We have hoped for many of these systems, because they were promised. This will seriously affect our planning, "the Ukrainian official participating in the development of military strategy told the publication.
According to the newspaper, the United States will suspend Ukraine's Patriot anti-aircraft missiles (PAC-3), stinger mobile missile systems, Hellfire for missiles, and NASAMS systems and F-16 fighters. The Pentagon spokesman said that the department does not fully stop military aid, but "reviews and adjusts his approach".
A source was reported that the decision was made in early June, but only entered into force now. Some weapons were already on the way to Ukraine, but they were stopped on the road.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine called John Rouquet of US Chargé d'Affaires in Kiev after it became known that Washington stopped supplying a number of weapons.
